Frequently Asked Questions

Some questions that are asked frequently are listed here. If you have a question that is not listed here, do not hesitate to e-mail us. When a question is already answered in this readme you will not get any mail back, therefor be sure that your question is NOT answered in this readme.

Q: I get "unknown command" when i issue a realbot command
A: Be sure you have activated realbot for the supported mod. Be sure to follow the installation guide perfectly.

Q: I run "map of your choice" for the first time with RealBot and it seems to hang?
A: The Usage page describes clearly what happens actually! Just wait, it won't take long and won't happen again on that map!

Q: I cannot add a bot, it says something about no waypoints?
A: The map you are playing does not have any waypoints, you should either search for a waypoint file on the internet or create some waypoints yourself. Read the waypointing section for more information.

Q: What happened to the Support for Earth Special Forces?
A: Support for ESF has been removed. If you want to play ESF with Realbot, grab the Preview Release 1. But do not run two versions of RB at the same time unless you know exactly what you're doing!

Q: My previous RealBot version has a menu, does RB : AI have this too?
A: RealBot : AI has a scripted botmenu, see Usage.

Q: Why is my question not here?
A: Probably because nobody asked it before, keep in mind that the forum is a good place to hang out! Still no luck? Mail your question to me.
